As a guy who never played Pikmin 2 yet, just by playing just Engulfed Castle for the first time, the music felt… off… I didn’t think much of it until I saw… *him…*

recently been on an insane quest to 100% pikmin 3 deluxe (bc Kirby series infected me with completionism), so naturally that means platinum on all stages. I'm still pissed that I threw a really good attempt I got early on on this stage. by the time I've heard "one minute left" jingle, my pikmin were wrapping up carrying everything to the base, and as I was frantically scanning the map checking if I forgot anything... then I saw something and went "fuck. there's a cherry on the other end of the map. reset." there wasn't a cherry on the other end of the map. my blind ass mistook a red round spot on a present box for one.
